Terms and Conditions
- Information published by Allan Scott Family Winemakers Limited (“ASFW”) on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid. By entering the competition, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. Only one entry per person is allowed.
- Entry is open to residents of New Zealand that are 18 years of age or over. (“Eligible Entrant”).
“Pinot project” 2017 while stocks last promotion (game of skill)
The promotion commences on 7 February 2017 and closes 31 May 2017 (Promotional period) with a total of 400 cases of noir available. Each case contains 3 different clones of Pinot Noir from our Scott Base vineyard plus a Reserve.
Customers who purchase the special “Pinot project” case, valued at $150, are able eligible to enter. They can use the wines in the case to mix their own special clone blend at home to their desired taste.
They then can go to the Allan Scott website and enter a description of their entry using the different clones of Pinot Noir. A description can be measured as a percentage of each clone in the glass, or as a specific mL measurement out of 100 mL.
The customer who enters the best tasting blend as deemed by the judges will win a trip to Scott Base Vineyard in Central Otago to work with Allan Scott winemakers who will develop a special Scott Base Pinot Noir blend.
Flights and accommodation to the value of $500 – trip to be taken in September 2017.
ASFW reserves the right to extend, cancel or amend this promotion at any time. Prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any components of the Prize.
How to enter
By entering this promotion, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Customers who wish to enter must purchase a special case of “Scott Base Pinot Project” Pinot Noir valued at $150.00 available online, cellar door and in stores.
Customers are welcome to make their own special blend and logon to www.allanscott.co.nz/pinot and enter their details including name, blend, phone number, email address, case number and demographic information. Customers must upload a description of the blend.
ASFW reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Entry details and privacy
Winner consents to ASFW using their likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of
time without remuneration. The name and photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by ASFW, unless the winner otherwise notifies ASFW at the time of accepting the prize.
The winner will be notified by mobile phone or email within 24 hours. If three reasonable attempts to contact the winners have been made within 7 days of the judging and the winner is still unavailable, the prize will be forfeited and the runner up will be awarded. Prize winners must provide valid identification to gain entry to the prize.
All entries become the property of ASFW including name, blend, phone number, email address and demographic information. Entry details remain the property of ASFW. Entrants consent to ASFW using personal information provided in connection with this promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the promotion and awarding any prizes (including to any applicable statutory authorities) and to conduct marketing activities. Without limiting the foregoing, entrants’ personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the ASFW’s Privacy Statement, a copy of which is available on our website.
Judging
The judging will be conducted on 6 June 2017 by a panel of experts selected by Allan Scott. ASFW’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Liability
ASFW is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
